Senate before adjourning for Thanksgiving break confirmed several of President Biden's nominees by voice vote including tech entrepreneur Jonathan Kaplan to be US Amb. to Singapore. Post has been vacant since last-confirmed Amb. Kirk Wagar left at end of Obama Admin in Jan 2017.
