The generous support of blog friends and readers helped us move to our new digs in WordPress … where we feel at home and taken cared of by our favorite happiness engineers. We even got a real address, so you will have no difficulty locating this blog in the future – http://diplopundit.net/.
We are grateful for your support all these years, but particularly in 2014 when it looked like we had to shutter the blog for 2015. Thank you so very much for keeping us around. That may sound cliché but as a reader-supported blog, this is the reason we are still doing this. As long as enough people continue to support this blog, we will continue writing about the good, the bad, and occasionally, the ugly, from the watch house. It’s as simple as that.
Our goal has always been to locate enough direct ads to make the blog self-supporting. Unfortunately, we are not there yet, but work is ongoing. For now, we rely on your kindness to help sustain our work.
❉ Annual Giving
Diplopundit accepts contributions at any time but we/volunteers have typically done one fundraising a year in the last couple of years to help sustain the blog and your blogger-in-chief. The contribution options below (borrowed from ADST) are made available should you want to offer support outside of our annual fundraising campaign. We will shortly announce the campaign for 2016.
Fellow ($1,000 annually or $2.73/day)
Sustaining ($ 500 annually or $1.36/day)
Donor ($ 250 annually or $0.68 cents/day)
Contributing ($ 150 annually or $0.41 cents/day)
Regular ($ 80 annually or $0.21 cents/day)
❉ Make a Contribution
The Friends of Diplopundit PayPal page is here where you can enter any amount of your own choosing. Please note that we have capped contributions at $1,000 and we would politely decline any contribution beyond that amount. You may also send us contributions using your credit card or through your bank. Look for the “Continue” button in our PayPal page (lower lefthand corner of your screen). Clicking the “Continue” button will allow you to send funds without registering for a PayPal account.
❉ Contributions Using Non-Credit Card Options
There are some of you who previously inquired about sending contributions by check or other non-credit card options, please contact us here.
IMPORTANT: Please note that Diplopundit is not a charity and contributions made to this blog are not/not eligible to claim as a tax deduction.
Thank you, grazie, y muchisima gracias!
